| Connecting Young Adults to Each Other and to Christ
In times of transition, it is important to be connected to others who are going through the same life changes. As young adults, we are all in transition. Whether that be new surroundings, a change in career, relationships or schooling, these transitions can often leave us feeling unsettled. Axis at Essex Alliance provides opportunities for anyone ages 18-35 to have fun together, serve and care for people, explore Christianity and grow in their faith — regardless of where they may be in their spiritual journey. Learning from one another, caring, encouraging and supporting each other are key aspects of growing in Christ. Therefore, we offer groups where we study the Bible and support each other through prayer and action. We offer men’s and women’s groups on Thursday evenings. The groups also try to get together once a month for a co-ed event. For more details about each group, contact: Kelly Walker at 318-3962 (women)
