With online giving you can set up an account so you can track your giving, set up automatic payments, or give anonymously without an account.

Smart Phone:

Enjoy the ease and immediacy of the newest generation by text giving!  

1. Text the message "Ministry 5” to our church number 802-221-4466.
2. Click the link and follow the directions to set up your account at SecureGive.
3. Set up a credit or debit card.
4. Once your account is set up all you’ll ever have to do is text “Ministry 5” (the number indicates the amount of your donation). When prompted, text Y to confirm your donation.

Prefer apps to texting? We’ve got you covered. 
1. Download the free SecureGive App.
2. Using your phone number, set up an account.
3. Set up a credit or debit card.
4. Choose “Essex Alliance Church” as your organization to begin giving.

At the Church:

Give cash or checks in the offering plate that is passed around on Sunday mornings, or drop them in the boxes located in the lobby. There are also iPad kiosks in the lobby where you can give by swiping your debit or credit card. If none of these styles suit your fancy, pick up a giving envelope in the lobby, or use the one sent in your monthly statement letter, and mail your tithes and offerings to

Other Ways to Give:

If you’d like to consider giving noncash gifts, such as stocks and bonds, property, or bequests, contact Linda in the finance department with any questions.

Please Note:

Because EAC is a registered 502(c)(3) nonprofit, your tithes and offerings qualify you for a tax deduction. Whether you use giving envelopes, kiosks, give online, or choose mobile giving, we provide you with monthly and year-end statements which may be used when filing your taxes. A few payments are not considered donations, so they will not be listed on your giving statements and cannot be claimed as a tax deduction. These include:

                Purchase of goods or services (e.g. books, magazines, flowers, wreathes etc), the cost of attending events such as conferences or retreats, MOPS dues or purchases, rental of church rooms or equipment, or pastor’s Christmas gifts.
