Everyone hungers for connection and longs for community. God made us that way. God intends our journey as a follower of Christ to be traveled with other people. In community, We discover that the struggles we go through are not unique to us and we learn from others who have journeyed down those paths. We are encouraged and strengthened by the group.
We best learn to walk with God, pray and integrate Biblical principles into our everyday lives in the comfort of community. When those relationships spill outside of the group to those who do not know Christ, our reflection of God’s love is multiplied.
Being part of a small group can change your life!
God created us to walk in friendship with Him in the midst of community. Because of God’s design, we offer a variety of Small Groups to help you grow in your walk with Christ and live out the life to which He calls you. Our groups strive to be:
Caring Communities — meeting one another’s needs (Rom. 12:9-13).
Maturing Communities — spurring each other on toward growth in Christ (Heb. 10:24-25).
Serving Communities — demonstrating the love of Christ to those around them (Matthew 25:34-40; John 13:35; 17:20-23).
Growing Communities — leading others to Christ and assimilating them into the group (John 17:14-19).
Multiplying Communities — reproducing themselves by birthing new groups to allow others to experience the same benefits of community (Matt. 28:18-20; II Tim. 2:2).
A variety of groups to choose from
Home Fellowship Groups
These groups groups typically meet in homes and provide love, care and support. The friendships formed in this atmosphere create a safe place to grow in Christ as you study, discuss in real life context and apply God’s Word.
Men’s Groups
These groups provide opportunities for men to learn and grow spiritually through Bible study and discussing issues relevant to men. The groups are offered at different times and days of the week.
Women In God’s Word
A great way to meet and build friendships with other women, our women’s studies are focused on seeking, applying and sharing God’s Word. Studies meet at various morning and evening times each week.
Activity Groups
These groups provide opportunities for people to connect with others in the atmosphere of an activity they enjoy. It is a safe first step into group life for some people. These groups also provide comfortable opportunities to build relationships with someone you are reaching out to who does not know Christ.
Remarriage and Blended Families
Blended families face unique issues. They deal with the “normal” issues of a family, plus additional situations that can be complicated and emotionally challenging. These groups address the special needs of blended families.
Single Again Ministry (SAM)
SAM is designed to help you heal emotionally and meet the challenges of being single again. Divorce Recovery classes prepare you to move ahead in life. Frequent activities for you and your children provide support and help to build new friendships.
Axis (Young Adults ages 18-35)
This growing ministry for young adults includes small groups, social activities and service projects.
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)
Through large group teaching times and small group discussions, MOPS focuses on meeting the social, spiritual and intellectual needs of moms with children ages 0-5. Childcare is provided through our Moppets program.
